I got on the bus and I inserted my Muni pass into the slot in the money taker machine, but the pass never spit back out. Turns out the slot was only for dollers and there’s no way to get stuff out once it goes in. The bus driver shook his head and asked me why I would do such a thing. I told him I forgot what city I was in. $45 mothly Muni pass down the drain. Idiot.

Today at about 3 o’clock in the afternoon my co-workers started to pack their bags to leave the office. I was like, “what?!” They told me that our boss sent us an email telling us we could leave as soon as we finished our work. Rather than being disappointed that I hadn’t read the memo and left hours ago, I was thrilled at the surprise! I might stop checking my email altogether if this is the kind of stuff that’s in store!

I was watching the Fox Business Channel and the conservative econ pundits were all in agreement with Obama about the stimulus plan. But the only reason I was watching Fox Business was because I was trying to watch Comedy Central and instead accidentally landed on Fox and it seemed like too much effort to change it.

I am trying to decide if I should eat the peanut butter on my desk. There are two jars of all natural peanut butters on my desk–one with cinnamon and raisins and one with raspberry and white chocolate. They came this way. Maybe instead of worrying about salmonella, I should worry about peanut butter that comes with these things already in it.

I got a dress in the mail at work. I ordered it online because why wouldn’t I? I wish now that instead of being at the office, I was at a cocktail party.
